Hey there! Are you looking for the best place to go outlet shopping in LA?
Citadel Outlets is one of my favorite places to go outlet shopping. The outlet center is located just 10-minutes from downtown LA and is home to over 130 brands and restaurants.
Here you’ll find information about visiting the outlet center and local insider tips to make your visit easier!
➡️ PS—you can see what it’s like to visit the Citadel Outlets in my NewsBreak video here.
What is there to do?
Shop at the factory outlet stores for discounted items. There are also places to eat and drink when you want to take a break from shopping.
Local insider tips
- Go early for better parking and smaller crowds.
- Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be walking a lot (the center is 700,00 sq. ft!).
- Sunscreen and a water bottle are suggested. The shopping center is outdoors and can get hot during the spring and summer months.
How long will you be there?
You’ll probably be there around three or more hours. It’s a giant shopping center, so it’ll take you a while to walk through, eat, and shop.
Parking options
Self-Parking is available, and it is FREE. There are two large structures available and additional lots with complimentary parking. You also have the option to valet your car ($).
Shuttle services
They now have FREE shuttle services from multiple downtown LA pick-up locations.
Additionally, if you’re traveling from LAX, there is a VIP experience where you can drop off your bags at the airport and then get shuttled to do some last-minute shopping before your flight departure.
You can find out more transportation information on Citadel Outlet’s website here.
