I’m Remi. I’m a Japanese-American content creator and storyteller based in Los Angeles. I was born in Fukuoka, Japan, and adopted as a baby by third-generation Japanese-American parents.
I create thoughtful, introspective travel content that helps people feel confident exploring new places — starting with Japan, a country I’ve spent years trying to understand more deeply, both as a place and as a part of my own story.
Through vlogs, travel guides, and cultural reflections, I hope to make travel feel not only accessible but deeply inspiring. Everything I share is rooted in personal experience — I only recommend places, experiences, and things I’ve genuinely tried and loved.
My connection to Japan is layered. Though I was born there, I wasn’t raised there. English is my first language, and like many Asian Americans, I’ve spent years navigating what it means to belong, both at home and abroad.
My content is rooted in that journey: rediscovering the country I was born in while building a life here in LA and slowly letting my curiosity lead me to new destinations, too.

Before content creation, I worked at creative agencies in LA and San Francisco, with brands such as Hulu, Heinz, Volkswagen, and Stone Brewing.
