Between Japan and Los Angeles, I’ve found myself craving a slower way to share stories — which is why I’m bringing back my weekly newsletter in a new form: Letters from Japan (and LA). 💌
I’ve missed writing to you. It’s been a while since I’ve sent a proper note outside of the occasional video update or new travel guide.
So I’m bringing my weekly newsletter back in a slightly new form.
Starting next week, I’ll be sending Letters from Japan (and LA) — short weekly notes about Japan’s culture, travel, and the in-between moments of life here and back home in Los Angeles.
➡️ Sign up to receive my newsletter.

Think of them as short letters from me to you, with part travel inspiration and part reflection about new things I’m learning along the way as I dive deeper into my journey of learning more about the country I was born in, but not raised in.
If you’re part of my Patreon, you’ll still receive my weekly Sunday Snapshots there — those are more personal reflections and behind-the-scenes updates.
These Letters, on the other hand, will be a space for cultural stories, travel notes, and small glimpses of life between two homes.
The first one arrives next Monday, and I hope it’ll offer you a calm, thoughtful start to your week.
If you’d like to receive these Letters from Japan (and LA) directly in your inbox, you can subscribe here. I’d love to stay connected and share these weekly notes with you. ✨
Thank you, as always, for being here. It truly means a lot.
🤍
With love,
Remi
From Japan (and LA)
