Shortly after his arrival, it began to storm outside, but he was safe inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He missed the thunderstorm thanks to the conversation he struck up with the temple master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lord was so impressed by the luck the cat brought him that he donated money to rebuild the temple in 1633.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p It leaves it up to you to make it work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gotokuji Souvenirs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gotokuji manekineko (lucky cat), amulets, and other souvenirs are available to purchase at the temple office. There are various lucky cat sizes to choose from, ranging from 500 yen to 7,000 yen.
